"this is the grief we feel about ourselves.
this could be in the form of no longer recognizing the person you are or coming home to yourself that many years of being a stranger.
we go through many deaths in this life as different versions of ourselves. sometimes, moving toward a better future requires the death of a previous identity. and usually, the person we become is even better than who we thought we were supposed to be."
