    "Luma Undertones: Illuminating Nature's Essence"     explores the subtle interplay between light and nature through the eyes of two distinct yet complementary Canadian artists, Madeleine Lamont and Anastasia Kimmett. Both artists invite viewers to engage deeply with the natural world, revealing hidden details often overlooked in everyday life. Lamont’s botanical oil paintings capture the delicate textures and shifting light of plant forms, while Kimmett’s mixed media works deconstruct and reassemble nature’s landscapes, uncovering the layered complexities beneath the surface. Together, they create an immersive dialogue about how light reveals and transforms the essence of nature, encouraging reflection on the quiet, often unnoticed undertones that shape our perception of the world around us.

    We are thrilled to kick off 2025 with the mesmerizing work of Victoria-based artist Dylan Cram! A classically trained oil painter and multimedia artist, Cram masterfully blends the high realism of classical painting with the charged imagery of contemporary life.
    In his latest body of work, the aesthetics of high drama unfold through luminous color, glossy surfaces, and layered materials—where nothing is quite as it seems. The familiar and the kitsch shift between recognition and mystery, inviting an interplay of irony, beauty, humor, and desire.
